Sail Pace’s engine mounting brackets are machined from 2½ x 3½ A36 mild steel angle iron. The design takes into account the Tartan 34’s engine mounting bed and lag screw placement requirements. Elongated 3/8 lag screw holes are provided for adjustment forward and aft ward. 3/8-16 tapped holes five inches from center are provided for securing the flexible engine mounts. All dimensions have been calculated for the alignment of the Universal M-25 XPB diesel engine. We spent many hours comparing different engine dimensions to find the right power, size, transmission option and exhaust hook-up so you won’t make a costly mistake.
